§ Introduction

Veloqit Technologies Private Limited ("Veloqit", "we", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website and use the Veloqit Bloom application.

This Cookie Policy explains:

  • What cookies are and how they work.
  • Which specific cookies we use on Veloqit Bloom.
  • Why we use each category of cookie.
  • How you can manage or disable cookies.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle all personal data.

§ What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website or web application. They enable the site to remember your actions and preferences over time, so you don't have to re-enter information each time you return.

Cookies can be:

  • Session cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies: Cookies that remain on your device until they expire or you delete them.
  • First-party cookies: Set by the website you are visiting (in this case, by Veloqit Bloom).
  • Third-party cookies: Set by a domain other than the one you are visiting (e.g., Razorpay, analytics providers).

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage for storing app state and user preferences in your browser.

§ Managing & Disabling Cookies

You have several options to manage cookies:

1. Browser Settings

Most browsers allow you to refuse, delete, or receive a warning before accepting cookies. How to do this depends on your browser:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and data stored

2. In-App Cookie Consent Banner

On your first visit to Veloqit Bloom, a cookie consent banner is displayed. You may:

  • Accept all: Enables all cookie categories including functional and analytics.
  • Essential only: Accepts only strictly necessary cookies. Functional and analytics cookies are not set.
  • Manage preferences: Granularly toggle categories on or off.

Your preferences are saved for 1 year in a cookie (__vq_cookie_consent) and can be updated at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

3. Disabling Analytics

To opt out of internal analytics tracking, select "Essential only" in the cookie consent banner. This prevents the __vq_anon_id cookie from being set.

Important: Blocking essential cookies (e.g., Supabase auth tokens) via browser settings will prevent you from logging in and using the Veloqit Bloom application. Only non-essential cookies can be disabled without affecting core functionality.

§ Policy Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, legal requirements, or our business operations. When we make significant changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Display a notice on the cookie consent banner for new or changed cookie categories.
  • Email registered users if the changes materially affect their privacy.

We recommend reviewing this policy periodically to stay informed about our cookie practices.
